Who Lilo is looking for as a Calistung Teacher
Required
- Patient and caring with young children
- Able to read and write well, and confident with basic counting
- Communicative, able to explain in simple language
- Willing to complete Lilo method training before teaching
Nice to have
- Background in early childhood, primary education, or psychology
- Experience teaching calistung or private tutoring for children
- Living near the service area for home tutoring

Calistung Teacher job questions
Do I need an early-childhood or education degree to be a Lilo calistung teacher?
No. A relevant degree is a plus, but what matters most is patience with children and willingness to complete Lilo’s method training. Real teaching experience can stand in for a formal degree.
Do I teach at the child’s home or online?
Both are available. You can teach privately at homes in your city, teach online, or do a mix, based on the schedule you can commit to.
Is there training before I start teaching?
Yes. Every new teacher completes Lilo method training, including teaching reading with phonics and counting with the CPA approach, before working with their first child.
